The Kayano is a legendary, top of the range shoe that provides excellent durability, comfort and style. Asics have revamped the midsole with FlyteFoam Technology, a 2 layered SuperSpEVA and Fibre Reinforcements within the midsole to improve on the Kayano-22’s performance and cushioning, at an even lighter weight! FluidFit Upper The GEL-Kayano 23’s upper incorporates Asics’ FluidFit technology. FluidFit combines technical mesh with additional highly functioning materials permitting an extremely pliable upper, which stretches to provide a truly personalised glove-like fit. The mesh allows hot air to diffuse out of the shoe, and cool air to permeate the membrane and travel into the shoe, which helps to create a pleasant internal environment for the wearer. A ComforDry X-40 Sockliner also features and provides moisture wicking qualities, as well as plush cushioning, to ensure that your feet remain cool, dry and comfortable throughout your training. The GEL-Kayano 23’s upper provides outstanding comfort, yet it also offers superior support. The upper is wrapped with synthetic overlays which provide added support and maintain the shoes’ shape. Further support is offered by the Heel Clutching System – an exoskeletal heel counter. The heel counter provides heel support and an improved, snug fit for the wearer. Through its snug fit, the heel counter helps to minimise the energy lost during the gait cycle by hugging your heel and preventing it slipping within the shoe.
