The upper incorporates a washable polyester webbing, which can be cleansed for prolonged freshness. The lace capture system allows for a comfortable and secure fit, and can be tightened to bring the whole shoe closer to the foot, making this sandal a must have for any warm day filled with both water and land based activities. For added comfort and support, Keen employ hybrid-ology in the form of a metatomical (metatarsals + anatomical = metatomical) EVA footbed. This is an anatomically designed internal support mechanism which provides support for the arch and metatarsals and cradles the natural contours of the foot. The CMEVA (Compression Moulded Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) midsole provides underfoot cushioning to keep your feet comfortable all day long. Lastly enhanced traction underfoot is achieved through a multi-directional lug pattern on the outsole which ensures that you stay stable over uneven rough terrain or wet and slippery rocks.
